Campus Shuttle Service
The Campus Shuttle Service is available to all members of the campus community. The route includes all housing areas and major main campus locations. During the fall and spring semester, shuttles run every 15 minutes Monday through Friday. During the winter and summer breaks the shuttles run every 30 minutes. There is no service on weekends or university holidays.
To ride the shuttle, wait at any of the eighteen distinctively marked shuttle stops on campus. Shuttle drivers will only stop at these locations. The shuttles stop at the following locations:
- Intergarrison Road across from building 82 (Stop A)
- Alumni Visitor Center and Meeting House (Stop B)
- Divarty Street at the Library (Stop C)
- A Street at building 48 (World Languages) (Stop D)
- Manassas and Wilderness (Stop E)
- Manassas and Antietam (Stop F)
- Bunker Hill and Yorktown (Stop G)
- Bunker Hill and Princeton (Stop H)
- Schoonover and Barbee (Stop I)
- Schoonover and Sherman (Stop J)
- Schoonover and Devers (Stop K)
- Schoonover and Patch (Stop L)
- Parking lot 45 behind building 45 (Stop M)
- A Street at building 49 (World Languages) (Stop N)
- Divarty Street at building 203 (across from the Library) (Stop O)
- Alumni Visitor Center and Meeting House (Stop P)
- Divarty Street at Third Avenue (near the Aquatic Center) (Stop Q)
- Intergarrison Road at building 90 (Otter Sports Center) (Stop R)
A shuttle guide is available. You may pick up a paper copy of the guide at the TAPS office or on any campus shuttle vehicle. You can also view the schedule online.
CSUMB students with a current university identification card in their possession ride the shuttle for free. Dependents, CSUMB faculty and staff, and other non-students pay $0.50 per day. Children under 12 years of age ride free. Bicycles are permitted on the shuttles.
Rules to Ride Campus Shuttle:
- No smoking
- Seat Belt Law Enforced
- Radios, CD, mp3 and tape players may not be used
- No articles over three feet in length
- No animals (other than assistance animals for the disabled)
Paratransportation Program
The Paratransportation Program provides service for students, faculty and staff unable to ride the shuttle bus because of physical limitations. Paratransportation service is available during all hours the Campus Shuttle Service is in operation. A wheelchair accessible van is available if requested. Go Shuttle
In January 2008 Transportation and Parking Services began operating a shuttle van service to The Dunes shopping center in Marina, the Del Monte Shopping Center and Portola Plaza/Alvarado Street in Monterey. The service operates on Fridays and Saturdays from 4:00pm to 1:00am and on Sundays from 1:00pm to 8:00pm. To find out more about this service visit the Free Shuttle section of the TRIPwise site.
