The Parking Services office is located in Valley Hall - E. Parking Services performs a wide range of functions and incorporates many programs, including:

  • Establishment and enforcement of university parking regulations
  • Parking facility renovation and maintenance
  • Community Service Officer Program, NightWalk Service
  • Courtesy vehicle jump starts
  • Lost and Found property
  • LiveScan fingerprinting
  • Counter service for all divisions of the University Police Department

Parking Services Employees

Parking Services is staffed by a combination of police, technical, clerical and student staff. The office is managed by the Parking Services Manager, a Police Sergeant. Full-time staff include the Parking Supervisor, Community Service Specialist, Parking Services Budget Specialist, and Parking Officer.

Parking

California State University, Monterey Bay administers a comprehensive parking program as required by state law and the policy of the CSU Board of Trustees. Parking permit eligibility and regulations (including conditions and limitations) are specified in the University Parking Policy. You may obtain a copy of the policy at the Parking Services office. Community Service Officer (CSO) Program

The Community Service Officer (CSO) Program is composed of student assistants trained by the University Police Department to provide services to the campus community. For information not on our web site, please call 582-3573.

Lost and Found Property

The Parking Services office is the official repository for lost and found property at CSUMB. Every attempt is made to determine ownership of property and notify the owners. Unclaimed property is stored for a period of not less than 180 days before being donated or discarded. Please call 582-3573 or come to the Parking Services office to check for found property.
